    Overview

    300 Ouellette located at the corner of Ouellette Ave and University Street East.

    300 Ouellette hosts the School of Computer Science and is located at the corner of Ouellette Ave and University Street East. This building was acquired in early 2022 with the goal of creating a technology innovation centre and community hub.

    Amenities

    Entrance: Main Entrance

    The main entrance is located on the west side of the building, facing Ouellette Ave. and is not accessible. This entrance is located up one set of stairs to a balcony. Once inside the building, visitors must access another set of stairs to reach the third floor to the student lounge. Another set of stairs provides access to the fourth floor where the School of Computer Science is located. This is a secured building and will require card/fob access. There is a sign posted with instructions with phone numbers to contact for access.

    The elevator provides accessible entry to the building and is located at the street level on Ouellette Ave. The elevator requires card/fob access. There is a sign posted with instructions with phone numbers to contact for access.

      The elevator requires card/fob access. There is a sign posted with instructions with phone numbers to contact for access if visitors do not have a card/fob:

      The 3rd floor button provides access to the third floor where the student lounge is located. The 5th floor button provides access to the fourth floor where the School of Computer Science is located.

      Bike Racks

      Bike racks are in the University of Windsor parking lot east of the AWCCA. Additional bike racks are in front of the Armouries and along Ouellette Street.

      Accessible and universal washrooms may vary due to the age of the building and evolving built environment standards.

      Water Fountain

      An accessible water fountain is located near the washrooms on the 3rd floor.

      Parking

      • There are three accessible parking spots for the University of Windsor use on the east side of the AWCCA.
      • There are two accessible parking spots on Freedom Way which have a 4-hour limit.
      • Students may obtain a student parking pass through the University’s parking service for 1 Riverside Dr. East parking garage, next to the Keg. This parking garage has many accessibility features.
      • Faculty and staff may obtain University parking permits to the parking garage located at Pitt Street and Dougall Ave. This parking garage has accessible parking but access to the payment kiosk is not very accessible.
      • Additional parking is available on the street (meter parking) or other municipal parking garages or lots.

      Note: Holders of downtown permits will also be able to use the parking lot at Askin and University Avenues while visiting main campus. For more information, visit the University of Windsor’s parking services website.
