What opportunities are there for learning outside of the classroom?

There are many experiential learning opportunities offered at the U! Everything from going on an exchange abroad to doing a co-op with companies worldwide to landing a job on campus through our Ignite Work-Study Program.

Yes, and you can travel to over 22 countries and earn course credit.

A once in a lifetime opportunity like this will assist you in understanding other cultures, improve your language skills and broaden your horizons.

Many programs incorporate co-op opportunities that will help you integrate valuable work experiences with classroom learning. Depending on your program, you can apply right out of high school or after your first year.

Definitely! There are endless volunteer opportunities at UWindsor, both on and off-campus! Certain classes offer volunteer opportunities that professors will mention. For example, there was a psychology class that offered tutoring special needs children as a volunteer opportunity.

Yes. We know internships are essential to a well-rounded education. Most programs incorporate an internship or co-op option.

The University of Windsor has established relationships with many employers locally, nationally and abroad. Many of those employers that we work with through co-op, internships and other experiential learning programs also hire alumni for different roles in their organization.
