Supporting Access to Education at the University of Windsor

At the University of Windsor, we understand that application fees can be a significant hurdle for many students dreaming of a university education. Our commitment to supporting marginalized learners means we’re dedicated to making post-secondary education more accessible by eliminating financial barriers.

Access Windsor: Bridging the Gap for Ontario Students

How We Help

We are working closely with guidance counsellors across Ontario to offer vouchers to domestic Ontario students. These vouchers can cover the cost of their Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) application for undergraduate studies.

What we Cover

The University of Windsor will fully cover the cost of these vouchers and any additional program-specific application fees required by Windsor.

How You Can Help

We rely on your support to identify students in your school who are facing financial challenges. If you know students who may struggle to afford the OUAC application fees, please share this opportunity with them and colleagues or graduation coaches who can assist in identifying potential candidates.

Our Simple Process

Our OUAC voucher program is straightforward. Vouchers are purchased and given to students, who can apply credit toward their OUAC application.

Request Vouchers

Please fill out the request form to request a voucher. We’ll email the voucher codes for you to share with the students you’ve selected. The vouchers are only valid for this application year, expiring on January 31, 2025.
Note:

The form needs to be filled out by a contact who can verify that a student meets the eligibility criteria. We ask that you be the main point of contact when requesting vouchers for your school on the form.

No Disclosure Needed:

Unlike other financial aid programs, we don’t require students or guidance counsellors to disclose the reason for eligibility. Your insight and knowledge are crucial in identifying students in need without the added burden of providing explanations or declarations.

Eligibility Criteria

Program Application

Students must use the voucher to apply to at least one program at the University of Windsor.

Financial Need

Students must face significant financial barriers.
