Be versatile! In our history program, you will develop your research and writing skills that prepare you for a career where critical thinking and communication are essential skills. We offer public history courses that explore how we interact with the past academically and in our everyday lives with an emphasis on digital history and practicums for hands-on experience.

What Will I Learn?

Producing well-researched written and oral material that integrates contemporary and historical perspectives and engages diverse audiences
Researching at a high level by collecting data and processing/ synthesizing substantial information
Articulating the nature and importance of events in appropriate cultural, social, and historical contexts
