Terms and Conditions
- Award Name: Winter 2026 Reconsideration Entrance Award
- Award Value
- Total award value: $2,000 CAD
- Disbursed in four equal installments of $500 per term over four consecutive academic terms
- The award is non-renewable, non-deferrable, and non-transferable
- Eligible Programs
Applicants must be admitted to and enrolled in one of the following course-based graduate programs at the University of Windsor:- Master of Applied Computing (MAC)
- Master of Engineering (MEng)
- Master of Management (MoM)
- Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this award, a student must:- Be an international student who was previously admitted to one of the eligible programs for Fall 2025.
- Have an “Expired” offer of admission for Fall 2025 (i.e., did not accept the offer by the deadline specified on the Offer of Admission).
- Have not deferred their admission from a previous term, or have requested a deferral to a subsequent term.
- Have not accepted an offer of admission to another program for the same intake.
- Respond electronically to the Winter 2026 reconsideration invitation sent by email to their applicant email address, indicating interest in receiving a revised offer
- Accept a new offer of admission for Winter 2026 by the deadline stated in the offer letter.
- Pay the required tuition deposit by the specified deadline.
- Awarding Process
- The award is automatic upon full-time registration in Winter 2026 in one of the eligible programs.
- No separate scholarship application is required.
- Disbursement is managed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
- Conditions of Continuation
- Students must maintain full-time enrolment in the eligible program for each of the four funded terms.
- Students who withdraw, drop to part-time status, or change programs will forfeit any remaining installments.
- Students must begin their studies in Winter 2026; the award cannot be deferred to a future term.
- The award is not transferable to another term, student, or academic program.
