Get ready to launch your engineering journey at the University of Windsor!

Our Engineering Program Orientation is designed to welcome new students into a supportive and innovative community. You’ll connect with classmates, meet faculty and staff, explore campus resources, and gain valuable insights into what to expect in your first year.

Join us for Concurrent Education Program Orientation, where you’ll be introduced to key information to help you start your journey as an educator with confidence. Led by the Student Success Coordinator, this session will provide an overview of the Concurrent Education program, explain important academic requirements, and offer practical strategies for success in university.

4. Introduction to the Mathematics and Statistics Student Association (MSSA): President, Mr. Oliver Brady
5. Introduction to the Windsor Actuarial Club (WAC): President, Ms. Mary Barron.

The program orientation for the three-year General Science degree will review the degree requirements, cover tips for transitioning to university, meet the advisors, and have a question-and-answer period. Current students from Science Society will also be in attendance to answer questions.

This session will provide information about our Bachelor of Forensic Science and Bachelor of Arts Combined Forensics programs. You will learn about the different concentrations and majors available in each program, the recommended first year courses, our modes of course delivery, as well as have the opportunity to meet forensic faculty and senior forensic students.

The Department of Biomedical Sciences welcomes incoming students to this program orientation session. We will provide an overview of the department, academic programs, student experiences, helpful resources and introduce you to our faculty, staff and students.

Students will be introduced to all the programs in the Department of Physics, including all Physics and Medical Physics programs.

Faculty and senior students will be on hand to describe the first year experience and offer advice on success and the variety of exciting experiences open to a Physics major. The student-led Physics Club will be in attendance to welcome the incoming students, describe their activities, and encourage participation in the Department. Current students and faculty will be able to answer any questions an incoming student might have.

This is a must-attend event for incoming Physics/Medical Physics majors who have questions that need answering and want to get the most out of their first year at the University of Windsor.

Join our engaging Fall 2025 orientation session for first-year students in our Chemistry, Biochemistry (General and Pharmacy Streams), and Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences (Health Stream) programs. We are kicking things off with games, music, prizes, and more. It is your chance to meet fellow FAHSS-mates, connect with faculty and staff, and discover the many ways to get involved on campus. This is the day you find out what it truly means to be a FAHSS student! From fun activities and helpful resources to exciting giveaways and great conversations, this welcoming event is designed to help you feel like a part of the FAHSS-mily from day one!

Come one, come all—it is going to be FAHSS-tastic!

During the HK Program Orientation, incoming undergraduates will get the chance to meet our faculty, staff, KinOne Leaders, HK Society representatives, and enjoy a complimentary lunch. In the afternoon, they will attend a session led by their Student Success Coordinator to support their transition to university, tour the Toldo Lancer Centre, participate in ‘hands-on’ activities, and learn the popular HK Chant for the Welcoming Ceremony.

In this presentation, we will introduce the academic programs offered in Economics at the University of Windsor.

These programs include:

• Bachelor of Science (Honours Economics)
• Bachelor of Arts (Honours Economics)
• Bachelor of Arts (Combined Honours Economics)
• Bachelor of Science (Combined Honours Economics)
• Bachelor of Arts (3-year Economics)
• Minor in Economics Major and Minor Concentrations in Economics for the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Arts and Science (IAS)

We will also provide descriptions of both core and elective Economics courses, along with suggested schedules for each academic program.

Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session and a welcome luncheon hosted by the department.

Tour of Memorial Hall and talks from Advisors and break out session, graduate coordinator and break out room.

Food and beverages will be provided.

This session is mandatory.

Nursing students will be welcomed by Faculty and Staff, especially those teaching in year 1 for the fall semester. Throughout the session, students will learn about main concepts within the nursing curriculum and will be introduced to various resources and supports that will help students transition to year 1 nursing courses. An Experiential Learning Lab orientation will be provided along with many opportunities for students to ask questions about pre-clearance clinical requirements, Brightspace, Accessibility Services, and more. An optional short tour of the nursing labs at the end of the day will be available.

Please note: All experiential learning labs will start the week of Sept 8th. All Human Anatomy & Physiology labs will start the week of Sept 8th.

In our session, you’ll meet faculty, students, and staff, who are committed to help you succeed in your program. You will also be introduced to your program, courses, and the resources that we have put together to help you as you move through your studies and experiences at UWindsor!

Be prepared to get acquainted with some of the places and things you’ll work with in your program through a BIOQUEST scavenger hunt and maybe even win a prize!
