Cheri McGowan

Dr. Cheri L. M. McGowan is a professor in the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Waterloo (Waterloo, ON), her graduate training at McMaster University (Hamilton, ON), and her postdoctoral fellowship at University Health Network (Toronto, ON). Her teaching interests include exercise physiology, and the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and exercise rehabilitation. She holds Adjunct positions in the School of Kinesiology at Western University (London, ON), Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine at University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI, USA), and the School of Medicine and Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI, USA), and is an Adjunct Scientist at the Lawson Health Research Institute (London, ON).
