Cohort-Based International Master’s Student Visa Promotion – Terms and Conditions

  1. Promotion Overview
    International students admitted to an eligible cohort-based master’s program at the University of Windsor for Fall 2025 who submit their study permit application on or before June 30, 2025, will receive an automatic CAD 2,000 scholarship, disbursed as CAD 500 per academic term over four terms.
  2. Eligibility Criteria
    To qualify for this promotion, students must meet all of the following conditions:

    1. Program Eligibility
      Be admitted to an eligible cohort-based master’s program for Fall 2025, including the Master’s of Management, Applied Computing, Medical Biotechnology, Actuarial Science, Applied Economic and Policy, Engineering Management, or Engineering.
    2. Study Permit Application Status as of May 26, 2025
      Must not have submitted a study permit application verified by IRCC as of May 26, 2025, as determined through the IRCC Designated Learning Institution (DLI) portal.
    3. Offer Acceptance and Tuition Deposit
      Must accept their offer of admission and pay any applicable tuition deposit.
    4. Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL)
      Must download their PAL from the University of Windsor’s applicant portal.
    5. Study Permit Submission
      Must submit a valid study permit application to IRCC by June 23, 2025.
    6. IRCC Confirmation Deadline
      IRCC must transmit proof of the submitted study permit application to the University of Windsor via the DLI portal by June 30, 2025.
  3. Scholarship Details
    1. The total scholarship amount is CAD 2,000, disbursed in four equal installments of CAD 500.
    2. Installments will be applied automatically to the student’s account at the beginning of the first four academic terms of foll-time enrolment.
    3. Students must maintain good academic standing to continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent terms.
  4. Additional Terms
    1. This promotion is non-renewable and non-transferable.
    2. The award cannot be exchanged for cash, applied retroactively, or transferred to another program or student.
    3. Students who withdraw, defer, or switch to an ineligible program may forfeit any remaining scholarship installments.
    4. Students are responsible for ensuring all application components (including PAL and visa documents) are submitted on time and verified through IRCC systems.
