Master of Applied Economics & Policy

My experience at UWindsor has been beyond my expectations. I've been impressed by the quality of the teachers and the resources available. This program offers a good balance between theory and practice, demonstrating how to apply theoretical knowledge in the real world.  I [also] chose UWindsor because of the outstanding quality of the Economics faculty [and] its location ... in the southernmost part of Canada, [offering] good climate, and living expenses [that] are more affordable compared to other cities. Even though I didn’t have any prior coding experience, I’ve already learned how to create economic models using Python and linear regression models using R programming. Additionally, one of the most valuable courses I’ve ever taken was the Business Communication course. It taught me how to integrate into a professional workplace by addressing social anxiety, improving public speaking, and refining presentation skills. I also attended several events that provided valuable opportunities to network with professionals in my field.
